Lovesick Lake is situated near Burleigh Falls, 30 minutes north of Peterborough (15 minutes north of Lakefield) between Stoney Lake and Lower Buckhorn Lake on the Trent-Severn Waterway.
For fishing - Our uncrowded lake is suited to casting, trolling or still fishing, with access from Lovesick Lake on to Buckhorn and Stoney Lakes through the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Forest Hill Lodge is one of Ontario's oldest fishing camps still in operation in the Kawarthas (1924). It was originally known as the Burleigh Falls Fishing Club. Today, The Forest Hill Lodge offers lakeside housekeeping cottages to suit couples, families and groups.
For families - The waterfront offers ideal conditions for canoeing, pedalboating and swimming, as well as a sandy beach for both play and relaxation. The use of our Lodge provides family fun common space to enjoy a movie, play games or take in views of the water.
